H-02 Seven Position Planter
Parametric exploration of the cuboctahedron, an Archimedean solid, meets stereotomy and becomes a fully assembled, 16-piece 3D puzzle.
The geometrical properties of the design allow for the planter to be clustered or placed individually in 7 different positions.

Context
The concept came as a challenge to merge symmetry, geometry and math. The design was intentionally complex.
Depending on the view angle it looks as a square, rhomboid or more importantly an hexagon (my design studio is called Hexagón).

H-02 was intended for retail, thus adjustments were done to perfect its manufacturability and quality.
The standard collection consists of three sizes and colors made of natural wood veneer.
Material: Walnut, Okume and Sapelli.
